My name is Malgorzata Waz, and I am a High School Biology and Human Anatomy Teacher with a passion for integrating art with science. I have recently earned a MA in Teaching from University of Portland’s PACE program (2020) after earning a Bachelors in Science in Biology, and a minor in Fine Art, from St. Norbert College (2017). I have spend the past two years (’18-’20) teaching middle school and high school science at an all-girls school in Honolulu, HI and am excited to be returning to the midwest and continuing my teaching career in Kenosha, WI.
In addition to teaching, I love exploring both the outdoors and the art world. At this time I am using my artistic talents to create engaging science videos for my students and teaching my own students how to create website to create a portfolio of their science knowledge. I began designing websites when I was in 5th grade (customizing html to make perfect neopet pages) and made my 1st GIF in 7th science grade about mitosis. I have explored many mediums in addition to digital works such as graphite, charcoal, watercolor, acrylic and india ink – some of which can be found on this website.
